FAQ

Why participate in BMUN?

BMUN offers a unique opportunity to develop essential skills such as public speaking, negotiation, and leadership, all while deepening your understanding of pressing global issues. Guided by our experienced organisers and dedicated secretariat, delegates receive expert mentorship and access to invaluable opportunities for both academic and personal growth.

Who can participate in BMUN?

BMUN welcomes students from Grades 6–12 at Bahrain Indian School and Grades 7–12 from all other institutions. We seek participants who demonstrate a strong commitment to diplomacy, critical thinking, and global awareness. Delegates are expected to engage actively in committee discussions and contribute meaningfully to the overall dialogue and decision-making process.

What is the dress code?

The dress code is formal and professional. Male delegates should wear a suit with a collared shirt, tie, and formal shoes. Female delegates should opt for a formal dress, suit, or blouse with trousers or a skirt in neutral tones.
